There are a few students still working on their projects but we are getting to the end of our semester and finalizing our projects. I am waiting for my work to come out of the kilns and of course still keeping my fingers crossed that my work is in one piece. I have learned that in ceramics we are a community of many and accidents happen. I have understood this but on Monday I had to accept it. I have worked so hard on the dog heads and I have two out of the four. I am happy that I have the two. I am going to continue with learning how to sculpt and how to work in their personalities. I love working on the texture and figuring out how to get all of the details in the facial expressions. I am looking forward to the Open House on Friday night and seeing all of my classmates enjoying and sharing with others their talents.
